Dr. Jones grew up in Toronto and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1981 from the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph Ontario. She established the Dover Animal Hospital in 1985, at the hospital’s first location on Market Street. The hospital then moved to its present location on St. Patrick Street in 1995.

Dr. Jones lives near Port Ryerse with her husband Bob, who owns Castle Lawn Services. She has two sons, Jeffery and Kevin. Her animal family includes two dogs, seven cats, and two horses. Her interests include traveling, horseback riding, her vintage jaguar, and enjoying her weekend stays at her cottage in Muskoka. She is a member of the Corvettes of Southern Ontario and many equine organizations.

Dr. Rodger received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph with distinction in 1996. She has worked at the Dover Animal Hospital since she graduated, and loves living in Port Dover and looking after the health of her wonderful clients’ cats and dogs. Laura is married and has a young daughter and son. When she is not busy with work and her family and the seemingly endless renovations to her older home, she enjoys gardening, reading, and spending time with friends.

Dr. Rodger has lived in many places throughout her life, including The Netherlands, Indonesia, and Western Canada. In fact, Port Dover is the one place she has now lived longer than any other, and it has truly become her home. She currently has one dog and two cats.

Judy developed a love of animals while being raised in Norfolk County on her family’s small hobby farm. She attended St. Lawrence College, Animal Care Technology Program, and graduated in 1977. She raised a family of 3 children in the Kingston area while working at Queen’s University for 18 years before moving back to Norfolk in 1996. Since 1996, she has truly enjoyed working in area clinics and she wrote the RVT certifying exam successfully in 1998.

Judy’s passion is currently consumed by 5 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, 4 dogs, and 2 cats. She enjoys and participates in agility flyball with her poodles, as well as volunteering with St. John’s Ambulance Therapy Dogs.

Keeley works as a receptionist at the Dover Animal Hospital and is usually one of the first smiling faces you will see. Keeley was initially part of our team as a highschool co-op student in 2003. She took a short 3-year adventure to Calgary where she worked at the Calgary North Veterinary Hospital & Emergency Services. Thankfully she returned to Dover Animal Hospital in 2011.

When not at work, she is kept busy with her adorable children, Nixon and Kinsley. Keeley also enjoys horseback riding and hiking with her 11-year-old Dutch/German Shepherd “Cora Pearl”.
